How have you benefited from being a member of Blarney CC – I love getting a hammering on the roads every weekend. It’s good to get taught the same lessons over and over again.
Advice you’d give to someone new to competitive cycling – I think the priority is to enjoy the sport and not get carried away with results or achievements. If you enjoy what you do and make good friends along the way, there is longevity in the sport. Many people new to the sport train too hard too quickly, and inevitably drop out & leave the sport when they don’t get results. Training is about good consistency year round.
