The Donal Crowley Memorial will take place on Sunday 17th February 2013. This event has gone from strength to strength each year and we expect to have over 1000 cyclists for 2013. Once again it will be attended by the famous Sean Kelly and we will have 3 events on the day.
The 100km Leisure Cycle, the 40km Novice Cycle, 10km Family Fun Cycle. Registration for the family fun cycle is free and you can register on the day, not online.
Both the 100km & 40km will leave Blarney Village at 11:00 and head for Tower and will turn right at the Shournagh Line and the Family Fun Cycle will start at 10:00 by the bottle bank and head out the walk towards Killeens. Sign-on for all events will start at 8:30 in The Blarney Castle Hotel and finish at 11:00.
Shower facilities will be in the Blarney GAA, 1km from The Blarney Castle Hotel and there will be a hot meal waiting for you at the hotel on your return from your cycle.
This will be the biggest event of the cycling calendar so start registering immediately as we may have to cap the entries.
