On Saturday 17th of September Tim Barry is organising the Munster Hill Climb Championships. The race is from Ballyvourney to the top of Coom (to the highest pub in Ireland). As it is a championship race there will be medals for each category (A1,A2,A3,A4 and Juniors). The overall winner will win their weight in food and drink. However this event supports a greater cause. Gerry Rea – St Finbarrs was involved in an accident earlier in the summer. All money collected at sign on will be donated to a charity of his choice. Gerry will also be there to present the medals.
Sign on is from 2pm to 3.30pm at the Mills Inn Ballyvourney, first rider off at 4pm.
Senator Windows are supporting the race, and are supplying a start house with ramp.
